Attorneys | Steven Shaw

Steven Shaw was raised in North Carolina and California, but considers Washington his home. He came to LePley Law Firm in 2000, having worked at the Washington State Attorney General’s office in the Labor & Industries Division. Since that time, Steve has helped the firm’s clients obtain real justice in the areas of automobile collisions, premises liability, worker’s compensation, products liability, construction defect and insurance bad faith.

Steve is an active member of both the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and has accepted numerous leadership roles. He is editor of the WSTLA monthly Trial News, and serves on various committees within the Association. Steve is also one of Washington’s representatives to the AAJ New Lawyer Division’s Board of Governors, and serves on three of its committees.

Steve has been named a "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics in its annual survey. Trial presentation technology is a specialty of Steve’s, and he has written articles and lectured many times in Washington and outside Washington on the subject.

Steve was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 2002 after attending law school at Seattle University’s School of Law. He and his wife Michelle and children Ethan, Rachel and Noah make Bothell their home.
